The Royal Esquire Club Presents THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS Friday Semi-Final
The Battle of the Bands is Royal Esquire Club competition of Seattle's hottest R&B, Pop, Jazz, Soul and Neo-Soul Bands. The competition kicks off with selection of the. semi-finalists by the competition committee; this year's Semi-finalist are Andra' Green & The Solution, Anisa Stoot & SoundProof, Surround Sound Band, Triple Treat Band, Danelle Hayes, and GoodyBagg.
VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE BAND The competition features audience participation in selecting the Finalist and ultimately the Champion. Each semi-final will feature a panel of judges as well as the audience casting ballots for the best performances. The nightly champion and the next runner-up from the semi-finals advance to the final competition.
FINALS COMPETITION The Finals will be hosted by comedian, Daniel Dugar who has appeared on BET's Comic View, DEF Comedy Jam, and at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem. The judging panel will feature a guest celebrity judge and again will rely on audience ballots for determining the Champion.
PRIZES In addition to garnering bragging rights for this year's champion, The Battle of the Bands features cash prizes and trophies for the Finalists.

Andra' Green & The Solution
A relatively new band formed by the renowned Keyboardist Andra' Green (aka Hunchy). Andra' is known for his work with GoodyBagg, The Mighty Sounds of Zion, and as Minister of Music/Creative Arts at the Christian Restoration Center. Andra' brings a progressive ryhtem & blues sound infused with gospel tones to form his unique trademark style.
Andra' can be found at many venues around town including special guest appearances at the Royal Esquire Club's Open Mic Tuesday and leader of The Gospel Brunch's house band, The Mighty Sounds of Zion.
Anisa Stoot & SoundProof
Everett Songstress, Anisa Stoot has strong roots in the Gospel community, but has branched out to the flavorful mix of Neo-Soul and Rhythm & Blues. Anisa is former member of the Northwest group, Sisters of Soul, and has had a strong showing in a previous Battle of the Bands Competition.
Surround Sound Band
Surround Sound Band, Seattle’s Premier Live R&B, Soul and Funk cover band comprised of some the most talented musicians/vocalist in the Seattle area.
